Brian W. Thomas is an award-winning actor, writer, and educator whose life bridges performance, purpose, and pedagogy. A native of Robbins, Illinois, and a graduate of Yale University, he began his career on stage and television—appearing as Robert in A Different World—and earned a Chicago Emmy Award for Fastbreak to Glory: The Du Sable Panthers Story. Over three decades in education, he has led and transformed independent schools nationwide, including the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy in Las Vegas and Proctor Academy in New Hampshire, shaping communities around equity, empathy, and belonging. Thomas is the founder of 3 Robins Consulting and AChildsBook.com and author of the reflective Substack series ANEW. Manchild at Yale, his debut novel, explores race, class, faith, and self-definition within America’s most storied campus. He lives between St. Louis and New England.
