string theory is an edgy romantic comedy that follows three interweaving lives: an ADHD twenty-something MAN crushing on a forty-something WOMAN who just dropped a hundred pounds and is gingerly feeling her way around being “hot” for the first time in her life, and a gay MODEL-TURNED-ACTOR (the MAN’s landlord) who is both terrified of turning sixty and guilt-ridden that he didn’t die from AIDS like most of his friends.
